Copyright Policy
This Copyright Policy explains how Wallfinity handles intellectual property for content hosted in the Wallfinity iOS app and related services.
1. Hosting platform
Wallfinity hosts wallpapers submitted by users and contributors. We provide infrastructure to upload, store, browse, and download that content. We may organize content into categories and apply limited technical processing for device display, but we do not claim to pre-screen every submission for originality or third-party rights before it appears in the app.
Submitters are responsible for ensuring they have the rights needed to share their wallpapers. Wallfinity does not assume ownership of user-submitted works and does not guarantee that every wallpaper is free of copyright claims. Hosting user content does not eliminate legal obligations under applicable copyright law.
2. Personal use of downloads
Unless otherwise noted, wallpapers available through Wallfinity are for personal, non-commercial use only (for example setting a Lock Screen or Home Screen). Downloading a wallpaper does not grant a commercial license or transfer intellectual property rights.
Without permission from the rights holder, you may not:
- Sell, resell, or commercially redistribute content from the Service
- Remove attribution or copyright markings where present
- Use user-submitted images for commercial purposes without explicit permission from the content owner
3. License for content you submit
For content you upload, you retain ownership. By submitting, you grant Wallfinity a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and adapt the content as needed to operate, promote, and improve the Service (including compression, cropping, Live Photo packaging, and category placement).
You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that your submission does not infringe others’ rights.
4. Infringement reports and review
We respect the intellectual property rights of creators and rights holders. If you believe content hosted in Wallfinity infringes your copyright, you may submit a complaint. We will review the report and may remove, disable, or restrict access to the reported material when appropriate.
Detailed instructions, required information, and what happens after you file are in our Copyright Complaints / Takedown Guide. Filing a complaint does not guarantee removal; incomplete or unsupported reports may be declined.
Where the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) or similar laws apply, this process is intended to help us respond to notices in good faith. It does not waive statutory rights or create immunity beyond what the law allows.
5. Repeat infringers
We may suspend or permanently disable access for users who repeatedly submit infringing material or otherwise abuse the platform, at our discretion and consistent with applicable law.
6. App and brand materials
The Wallfinity name, logos, app UI, and original software are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy or misuse Wallfinity branding except as expressly allowed.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when material changes are made.
