Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Wallfinity iOS application, the wallfinity.app website, and related services (together, the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Wallfinity is a commercial wallpaper app for iPhone. It lets users browse, search, favorite, download, and set static and live wallpapers; subscribe to Premium features; optionally use invite/referral rewards; and, when enabled, contribute wallpapers with a display nickname.
Wallfinity operates as a hosting platform for wallpapers submitted by users and contributors. Content available in the app is user-submitted material that we host, display, and distribute in connection with the Service. We may moderate, organize into categories, or remove content, but we do not claim that every item has been independently verified for originality or legal clearance before publication.
2. License to use the App
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Wallfinity app for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms / App Store rules.
3. User-submitted content
If you upload, submit, or otherwise contribute wallpaper images or related media:
- You represent and warrant that you own the content or have all rights, licenses, and permissions needed to submit it and to grant the license below.
- You confirm the content does not infringe copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights of any third party, and is not unlawful, harmful, or deceptive.
- You retain ownership of your content. You grant Wallfinity a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, adapt for device display (for example cropping, compression, or Live Photo packaging), and otherwise use your submissions solely to operate, promote, and improve the Service.
- You understand submitted content may become publicly visible to other users of the app.
You are solely responsible for content you submit. Wallfinity is not responsible for verifying the rights status of every submission and does not guarantee that content in the Service is free of third-party claims. Nothing in these Terms limits remedies available to rights holders under applicable law.
4. Downloading and personal use
Wallpapers are provided for personal device customization (for example Lock Screen or Home Screen). Downloading a wallpaper does not transfer ownership or grant a commercial license. Unless you have separate permission from the rights holder, you may not sell, resell, or commercially redistribute Service content.
5. Free and Premium features
Some features are free with limits (for example a limited number of downloads). Premium features may include unlimited downloads, live wallpapers, editing tools, Auto Switch / wallpaper rotation features, removal of Premium gates, and fewer or no ads. Feature sets may change over time and will be described in the app.
6. Subscriptions and billing
- Paid subscriptions (including weekly, yearly, and promotional offers) are billed through your Apple ID via In-App Purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, or after any free trial ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or current period ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in Apple ID account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to period end.
- Managing and canceling subscriptions is handled by Apple under Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. We cannot cancel an Apple subscription on your behalf.
- Prices may vary by region and are set in App Store Connect. We use RevenueCat (or a similar provider) to verify entitlement status; we do not receive your full payment card details.
- Any unused portion of a free trial may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
Consent to share consumption data with Apple
By using our app and making in-app purchases, you consent to our sharing information about your usage and consumption of purchased content with Apple when resolving refund requests. This information may include how you accessed and interacted with the purchased content. We share this information only as needed to help Apple make an informed refund decision and in accordance with Apple’s policies.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload or submit images you do not own or lack permission to share
- Submit content that violates copyright, trademarks, or other laws
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service or its servers
- Bypass Premium, download limits, or security controls unlawfully
- Misuse invite / referral systems
- Use the Service for unlawful or harmful purposes
We may remove content, suspend access, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, and may report illegal activity to authorities where appropriate.
8. Copyright complaints
We respect intellectual property rights and review copyright complaints for content hosted in the Service. If you believe material available through Wallfinity infringes your copyright, see our Copyright Policy and Copyright Complaints / Takedown Guide for how to submit a request. Filing a complaint does not guarantee removal; we review each case. This process does not replace rights or obligations under applicable law (including the DMCA, where it applies).
9. Website
The wallfinity.app website provides information about the app, marketing pages, and App Store download links. Use of the website is also subject to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Wallpaper appearance may vary by device, iOS version, and display settings. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability or that content is accurate, original, or suitable for every purpose.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us for Premium access in the 12 months before the claim (if any). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12. Changes
We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date on this page.
